K. Wohletz Water/Magma interation: some theory and experiments on peperite formation
Posted by Joel Allen on Friday November 04, @05:58PM
from the dept.
Formed from the intermingling of magma and wet sediment, Wohletz applies the properties of FCI theory to investigate the ratio of thermite and wet sediments required to form peperites. Peperites are unique contact features occuring between magma and wet sediments that I will be investigating for constraints on runout and surface morphology.
